Series 3000

The sparkling granite, quartz and feldspar crystals embedded into the surface of Series 3000 set it apart from any other paver. With our proprietary EnduraColor Plus technology, these non-fading minerals will provide endless performance with a lifetime of beauty and surface resilience.

Base Requirement & Bedding Course – standard or open graded paver base material for raised patios and step areas.

Handling and InstallationA protective pad is required when doing the final paver compaction. Care must be taken to avoid tossing stones so that they bang against each other. Damage to the surface appearance can happen if handled too rough. Both random and linear patterns are common. Install from multiple palettes for best color distribution. Gloves recommended.

Accent compatibility – The, 4” x 8”, and the 6” x 6” units can be used as a sailor or soldier course and as a soldier course. The 4” x 8” and the 6” x 6” sizes are ideal for accenting in walls.

Jointing Material and Joint Stabilization

  • Good: Ordinary dry joint sand
  • Better: Ordinary dry joint sand stabilized by a water-based sealer. (for impervious installations only)
    • Best:   Ordinary dry joint sand stabilized by a solvent based joint sand stabilizer sealer (for impervious installations only)

Special Note: Polymeric Sands are not recommended

Sealers

  • Product may be sealed but it is not absolutely required
  • Unilock Unicare, Surebond, BP Pro and Techniseal sealers can be used.
  • Product must be cleaned before sealing

Cleaners – Any paver cleaner from Unilock, Techniseal, Surebond or BP- Pro is acceptable.  Using efflorescence or acid-based cleaners will enhance the textural and color appearance.

Special note: Other than overlay on concrete stoops and steps, you should have a bedding layer between the pavers and the poured concrete surface to avoid issues with height variance.
